I'm an anthropologist. I'm also an entrepreneur and sales executive. I built and sold a software company and continue to scale it within the acquiring firm. I make markets for new things.

In other words, I think a lot about value. Human societies are organized around value, a phenomenon whose content is always shifting, but which has enormous impact on how people experience and interpret the world. Money, virtue, character, truth--all of these are inflections of value.
